Gastroscopy is used to inspect the interior of the stomach. During Gastroscopy procedure, the doctor can remove polpys, take biopsy and arrest bleeding.

Instruction before Gastroscopy


  • Patient should keep fasting for six hours before the examination.
  • Due to sedation effect, it is essential to have someone to accompany you home 
         and not to drive or operate any machinery after Gastroscopy.
  • Please register at our clinic 15 mins prior to Gastroscopy.
  • You are advised not to have any make up or nail polish for it may interfere our
         medical abservations.
