Diabetes is a very common endocrine disease which affects the carbohydrate
metabolism in which the sugar in the body cannot be utelised normally.

Diabetes can be divided into 2 types:

Type I       Insulin dependence
                  Patient have little od no ability to produce insulin.
                  Patient require insulin injection

Type II      Diabetes Mellitus
                  Usually after age of 40, the production of insulin is inadequate.
                  Patient may be able to treat with oral medication

Symptoms of diabetes


Extremely thirsty
Generalise malaise
Decrease visual acuity
Increase of risk of infection
neurological symptoms ( numbness )
